Collection of Green Waste

Birmingham City Council’s green waste collection service will be suspended in November and will re-commence in February 2014 on a chargeable basis. The council plan to introduce wheelie bins for green waste and to make an annual charge of £35 for a fortnightly collection service. Wheelie bins will be micro-chipped. The council issued a specification document on 4th September 2013 detailing these changes and it is available to view and download in the ‘Resident Area’ under ‘General Information & Documents’.
