A full tree survey (an arboricultural report) is carried out every two years to safeguard the ‘tree stock’. The trees are a defining feature of the Estate and it is important that their health is monitored and protected. The survey is also conducted to demonstrate a ‘duty of care’ by Four Oaks Estate Ltd towards road and footpath users.
The 2015 tree survey was carried out on 1st & 2nd June and when the report is received it will be uploaded to the Residents’ Area. The report lists recommended works to safeguard the health of the trees and these recommended works are put to tender and the works are then carried out. Re-plantings tend to be carried out in autumn.
All Estate trees have a silver tag with a number. This enables the report to identify trees individually and residents to look up the narrative about any specific tree.
