From 2016 the board of directors intends to issue a quarterly e.mail newsletter. This was announced in the letter that accompanied the annual road frontage charge demand. Residents should notify the Secretary if they wish to receive this newsletter and provide a current e.mail address. The newsletters will also be uploaded to fouroaksestate.wpengine.com.

The volume and speed of traffic, especially during the morning rush hour, continues to concern many residents and experimental methods of traffic calming have been trialled on Hartopp Road and Wentworth Road where the problem is greatest. The road frontage charge rate for year 2015/16 (1st October 2015 to 30th September 2016) has been set at £16.70 per yard frontage. Demands were issued on 28th September and in the usual way there is a 5% discount for settlement by 31st October.

New signage is being erected at the Four Oaks Road entry points to Hartopp Road, Luttrell Road, Ladywood Road and Wentworth Road. Works under the Footpath & Verge Improvement Plan continue across the Estate and shortly the exercise of re-covering the footpaths will commence. The footpaths will be covered with Cotswold Path Stone which is an attractive stone and ideal for footpaths.

The works at Four Oaks railway station to construct a new two level car park are now underway and Centro estimates that the works will be completed around mid December.

Over the next few weeks all signs across the Estate will be cleaned. This includes road name signs, Four Oaks Estate signs, speed bump warning signs and parking restriction signs.

It has recently been announced that the lead contractor appointed by Centro to construct the new two level car park at Four Oaks railway station has gone into liquidation.
